Clubs have until the 15th October to sign up to the ACC Sky Deal. For the deal to go ahead, 75% of ACC Clubs need to be part of the deal by the 15th October. This means that if your Club wants to be part of the deal and have already opted in then you may want to speak to your neighbouring ACC Clubs to remind them of this extremely good value deal. For the majority of ACC Clubs, the offer of £275 (ex VAT) represents a huge saving on the normal cost of Sky Sports Ultimate, At The Races and Sky Entertainment channels. This package provides Clubs with all 7 Sky Sports Channels, the ever popular At The Racing Channel in addition to over 60 entertainment channels. Clubs can use the addition of this great value Deal to encourage existing members to use the Club more and also encourage new membership applications. With a reputation for showing top tier sports and entertainment. Clubs are currently seeing the benefits of being known for showing top sporting coverage.

At a cost of £275 (ex VAT), a typical Club would only need to sell an extra 12 pints per game on Sky’s 116 Premier League games and 127 Championship games to cover the cost. Such a crude calculation does not, of course, take into account the extra Sports coverage that the Club would be showing such as 20 Formula 1 races, every England International Cricket game, 360 Rugby Union matches, 800 hours of live tennis, 52 days Nikki Scott set up the charity in August 2010 to help the children our fallen heroes leave behind after her own husband Corporal Lee Scott was sadly killed in Afghanistan in July 2009 leaving behind her and their two young children. Scotty’s Little Soldiers aims to provide relief from the affects of bereavement to young people up to and including the age of 18 years who have suffered the loss of a parent serving with the British Armed Forces. The charity provides the children with support and guidance throughout their childhood and offers a respite, however brief, from the daily ups and downs of coping with the loss of a parent. of darts, 80 NFL games and the At The Races channel which includes daily racing action. Existing ACC Sky Customers report that they see existing members more frequently, that members’ bring more guests with them to the Club and that members and their guests spend longer in the Club when sports are on and purchase more drinks during sporting occasions.

We recognise that all Clubs have to continue to ensure that they attract new members and encourage additional use by this existing members. It is not enough to simply appeal to the Club’s existing membership since to help secure a long term and prosperous future, all Clubs must constantly ensure that they are attractive to the next generation of would be members. In many cases, a strong Sports and Entertainment focus is an area where Clubs can achieve this and we strongly encourage all ACC Clubs to give proper consideration to the ACC Sky Deal and the benefits which having Sky Sports in your Club would provide.Clubs wishing to take advantage of this offer, including free installation and two viewing cards, can opt into the deal by phoning 08442 411 880 or visiting www.business.sky.com/accClubs wishing to receive special ACC Financial Assistance in order to join the ACC Sky Deal should contact the ACC on 0207 222 0843 or email assistance@toryclubs.co.uk
